The best way for the child to grow in school is not merely learning the subjects but more than above learn values for life. In today’s context where everyone wants the child to score high marks and do well in the extracurricular activities, as a result the thirst for values is being slowly sidelined. The purpose of education is to make the child prepare for a happy life in the future. I am sure if the child in the school days learns these15 simple values and inculcates in day today life these values, surly  will shine out to be the best citizen for the country tomorrow.

1. Try to understand how other person feels 

When some of the actions hurt the other person, one must learn to feel how the person is deeply hurt and must decide never will repeat the actions that hurts others and makes them feel bad.

2. Respect other person

The important  values one must imbibe in life is, learn to respect others as they are and their uniqueness, never discriminate them by their cast, colour and economical conditions.

3. Accept responsibility for the actions

Never say no for the action that you have done. It may hurt the people or it may have helped the people to grow better. Every action of yours is yours, you must be ready to hold responsibility.

4. Willing to sacrifice

The sense of sacrificing for the other will do a greater deal in life, more especially to the poor in the society. This virtue will make the child to recognize others has human being and he/she will held social responsibility.

5. Learn to salve the problem 

Problems are part of human existence on this planet, everyone even  child has a problem, and the children need to learn the heart of salving the problem at the young age onwards. This will help them to face life’s challenges in confident way in future.

6. Learn to forgive and forget

In the walks of life getting hurt and hurting others are inevitable, where we would come across various incidents that hurt others, but the hurt should not stay long in mind and heart, it would be nice if the child learns the art of forgiving and forgetting.

7. Do the work cheerfully

Even difficult work will become easy one to be achieved when it is done with willingness The child must cultivate  likeness for work at the early stage of life, so that in later stage the child gets along with even difficult jobs in a cheerful way.

8. Be happy when someone succeeds

The general human tendency is that when someone does well, we feel jealous and tend to compare with others and often forget the talents within. The child must learn the art of being happy when others succeed.

9. Keep the promise

At any given situation when you promise something to someone, never take back your promise unless it does harm to the persons. Promising and keeping the promise is the essential in growing better human relationship.

10. Appreciate others

It is another important value one must learn in the early childhood. If everyone learns the art of appreciating others for their good actions, at  home,  society,  country, and world, I am sure the world would become a happy place for everyone to live.

11. Learn to say thank you.

Whenever you receive a help never forget to say thanks. It makes the person feel happy as well as he would feel his actions of good deeds are accepted, that will help him to grow in life doing lots of good actions in the future.

12. Learn to control Anger

In today’s past moving world where everyone wants things to be done at once. So the expectations are more and when it is not fulfilled according to the expectations people tend to get into depression , that make them lose temper as a result  there arouse anger that makes the situations worst. So I would suggest the children in school learn the art of handling anger in a positive way.

13. Trust others

the human relationship will become complete when one learns to trust the other. We are so much caught up in life’s difficulties and bitter experiences often find uneasy to trust people, as a result we tend to miss good people in life.

14. Learn to listen others

Listening to others is a one of the fine qualities that one must learn at the young age itself.  The counter argument usually makes the situations worst. The worst situation can be made an easy problem solving event when one learns the art of listening to others.

15. Never Be upset

The children grow up in a situation where they want everything to be at their disposal. They can’t withstand when things are told no to the things that they want. Every child must be made to understand that life can be lived peacefully when they are able to get adjusted with the things that they are blessed with.

Well life is what one makes it with things available, I am sure the values above will make the person  better focused in life. I am sure the child in a school not only must learn the subjects but also must learn values for life. It is not the subjects that they learn makes them good personalities, it is rather the good values that they learn in life will make them great personalities. The learning of subjects may promise them good jobs in life, but in order to demand respect in life one must need to cultivate values in life. It is not the subjects that they learn makes them go long way, it is rather the values that makes them lead an exemplary life style. It gives sense of joy for a happy living .So I would suggest let every school and every child be a beam of light that radiates good values making the nation glow with good values.
