All the great leaders in the world emphasized only education can make the county grow in all sphere its existence. Today we breathe free air because there were so many who sacrificed their life for the freedom of the nation. The man who was behind freedom fight and who led the countrymen fighting for the right and our father of the nation Gandhiji dreamed and versioned of modern India, where every citizen of the country must be educated. To him, education was to be viewed as means to nation- building through an all round drawing out of the best in the child and man, body and spirit.
- Education Must Lead…
One of the beliefs of mahatma was literacy to all men and women will bring great change in the society, but that was not the end of the education nor even the beginning; it should make a person fully realize his hidden talents and discover the best within. Education should lead to the highest development of mind but it would be fine if it takes place only through a scientific cultivation of the faculties of the mind and body. Education must make the person with wholesome personality.
- Give Opportunity
Opportunity is the best way to discover the best in persons. In order to train the main and universal application of acquired knowledge, the youth should be given the opportunity of creating things on their own, however imperfect the products. Education must teach the child to work culture. The education reaches its fullness when the child is able to discover himself the best of talents and use all is talents for the growth of the country.
- Education Must Give More Knowledge for Life
The aim of education is to make man fully realize, reason out and to differentiate between good and bad. It is not filling the mind with information it is rather becoming to know the real life. Once education reaches its zenith we can be sure that nation is in its progress in creating a better world for everyone.
- Cultivate Reading Habit
When we look at modern generation we observe today, even at the higher levels, students are not encouraged to apply their minds and underrated simple to complex events and issues. Nor do they get an opportunity to use the library for acquiring information relevant to their environment. There are hundreds, if not thousands of schools and colleges without libraries, but these days students are encouraged to read books and government is taking keen interest in providing libraries even in schools, cities, villages. Well in order to develop oneself and the nation at large only education is the best means to reach the target.
As our great leader and father of nation Gandhi said only though education you can bring growth to country. So dear children understand the importance of education right form young age and work hard to gain knowledge and always be ready to learn new things for life.
