Life often gives us surprises at the same time disappointments too. We live in a society where we need to meet different people in different walks of life. Life becomes wonderful and pleasing when we speak words that does not hurt the other, but harsh word do hurt people and the relationship which is sweeter often turns to be bitter. We must be cautious with words before we speak, it is like a split milk once words told badly you can’t collect it back, so let every words that you speak think twice before you speak it out. Let every word that is spoken may be words of encouragement and words of love that makes every person live better and be happy. A true story that speaks how we must learn to put up with situations in life.
A unknown author says…
“When I was a kid, my Mom cooked food for us.
One night in particular when she had made dinner after a long hard day’s work, Mom placed a plate of ‘subzi’ and extremely burnt roti in front of my Dad.
I was waiting to see if anyone noticed the burnt roti. But Dad just ate his roti and asked me how was my day at school.
I don’t remember what I told him that night, but I do remember I heard Mom apologizing to Dad for the burnt roti.
And I’ll never forget what he said: “Honey, I love burnt roti.”
Later that night, I went to kiss Daddy, good night & I asked him if he really liked his roti burnt. He wrapped me in his arms & said:
“Your momma put in a long hard day at work today and she was really tired. And besides… A burnt roti never hurts anyone but HARSH WORDS DO!”
well dear students learn from the story just narrated, a wonderful example of true husband , who really cares for his wife, though the food cooked was not so pleasing yet he could eat it happily. If he wanted he could have reacted very well, but his attitude towards human life was so great that he could see a better other in human life then the food.
Let this little story inspire us dear children that every word spoken must encourage the other, it should not hurt the others feelings.
Let the life on this earth be a life that radiates words of true wisdom that makes every life on this earth live happily.
