A child in a home can make a big difference to the parents, a child in a school can bring bundle of joy to the teachers and students around , a child for nation can contribute a great deal for the nation’s growth.
A child is an asset
Every child who is born on this planet is a valuable gift to humanity. We all would agree that children are the most precious assets of the nation and they are future citizens and the nation builders, they should be handled with utmost care. We must never think that their future depends on us in turn future depends on them, They are the once who would design their lives.
Accept them
One of the finest qualities every human being must possess is to accept every individual asthere are with their strength and weakness. If we are able to accept them specially every child as a lovely talented personality then life will be a beautiful gift given by God. The gift of children is second to none. So it is our bounden duty to work and live for their welfare. Let every child grow in love and concern so that they may cultivate a sense of belonging to their family, to their society and to the nation at large. If every child at the young age is prepared with responsibility in the hearts and commitment with minds then we can expect a big new society as the day’s progress. In order to have that change we must learn to accept each child and encourage them with positive attitude towards life.
Be a Role model
Today’s young generation looks for role models, in this fast changing scenario we have lack of role models, who could be a big example for the children. Well I would strongly feel that parents, the teachers and all the people in the surroundings and well-wishers of the child have roles to play for the growth, development and the blossoming of the character of a child. If the parent is the first teacher and a teacher is a second parent, all of us are friends, guides, philosophers and counselors to our children and to all children entrusted to our care. Every activity of ours is very closely observed by the children and they look for role models. Let us be convinced in order to create a new nation we need to be first and foremost good role models whom children look at elders and learn to be good.
Encourage the children
The millennium children of today are highly look for encouragement and appreciation, we as elders must make it a point to encourage the children when they do well and instill in them a confidence towards better life. One must understand a harsh words kills initiative, the little once expect that they need to be recognized for their good deeds like when they get good marks, while they act well on the stage, when they sing melodiously, when they perform group or individual dance, while they speak or play well. A small smile, a kind word, or a gesture of approval will go a long way in their growth.
Stay positive
Believe only positive attitude can bring lots of newness in life. Staying positive and being sensitive enough to see the positive qualities in the child and be broad minded enough to appreciate them and generous enough to congratulate them on the achievements is a must, in order to create a child for a growing nation. Every child in school days needs to be instilled with positive approach towards life which will go long way in making a child to be effective personality in making difference and doing things differently for a change.
Care for the child
The children today look for caring hearts, it is the for more important thing to do. They must be made to feel they are cared. We as elders must encourage them every good deed of the children with positive stroke. Let them not experience flattery or words that are empty. Make things happens for good and let every child feel that they are special and they have the ability to bring newness in themselves.
Well dear friends if we work on marble it will perish; if we work upon brass time will deface it, if we rear temples they will crumble to dust. But if we work on immortal minds, nobody can steal or destroy it rather it will stay longer days bearing good fruits for the future. If we imbibe in the child’s heart and soul good principles, with just fear of consciousness and love for people around then we can be sure it will have lasting effects in the days to come. Let us respect and treat each child as a assert for the nation and believe they can bring a big change in every field.
