We live in a society where we need to depend on everyone for some reason or the other. Basically if you see you would agree with me our life in the society benefits a lot from people around with whom we make our living. This is the fundamental human nature that humanity makes its living with dependency, We human beings are social beings. Well my question is here, are we preparing our students of today to realize this reality of life. I would rather say, a big ‘NO’. The modern life style has got greater impact in the young generation today that life is becoming more of individualistic, where one does not bother about the other, this practice certainly is not a health sign of human nature. In order to make the young to prepare themselves for the future with social responsibility, The schools must encourage young minds and instill in them a love for the people, society and commitment to serve humanity at large as they grow.
Students of today
We believe every leader of tomorrow is trained in four walls of a classroom. The future leaders should be brought up with social consciousness. students of today are the pillars who suppose to make the nation go on and on in all the sphere of its life. The present day’s young generation should be ready to shoulder the burden of leadership, because a good leader is the one who can show the way to others. They can do effectively by understanding the intensity of the present day problems. one of such problem is that concerning the plight of the downtrodden in society. The least in the society should be cared for, they need to be given descent life at best basic education. This consciousness must get rooted in the mind set of every child at the young age itself.
The area of concern
If you look around the society today, we have lot many opportunities waiting for the talented young minds. They have all the possibility of choices in work field. But my concern is all about the less opportunities driven talented young minds who look for better chance to contribute to the world at large. There are many physically and mentally handicapped people in all our countries. Thousands of people require humanitarian treatment. Many villages are still backward and need improvement. When you take a survey it tells there number of school goers are less, Illiteracy wide spread. Due to economic less growth unemployment is rampant, be sure these have harmful effects on society, where young minds are not fed with social responsibilities. They need to grow with big dream for oneself and for the nation. They must believe in themselves that their little contribution will have a greater effect in the growth of nation.
Students role
The society and people have instilled in the mind of the young today and the recent past that only those professions like, engineer, doctor, IT, and other white colour professions are well respected. Yea it is true, but at the same time the child at school also should be given enough exploration about social responsibility, like taking of special study on social service. Students must also have other alternative of taking part in social service. If only they are given enough input at the young age be sure they may to the best of their ability, try to eradicate poverty, illiteracy and ignorance. This small act would do a greater deal for the growth of the nation. Education does not mean getting grades, it is rather preparing for life to serve the society in best possible way. So that everyone around benefits a better life style. So let every school encourage the child at the young age itself a love for society and for poor people, so that every child grows with socially responsibility and dreaming big for the country.
